Hey love! It’s nice to virtually meet you. I’m Khalid Jalen, founder of Khalid Jalen Aesthetics. I’m a Licensed Esthetician in Houston, Texas, but I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio — a long way from home, right?! Much like my journey into professional skincare, it was unpredictable, yet one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve been in love and intrigued by skin since I was 11 years old. Walking around the house with a noxzema mask thinking I was “preventing acne” while simultaneously picking scabs on my knees to watch my skin heal itself over and over again — yay hyperpigmentation haha! This same love and eternal curiosity of skin led me to leaving my career as a Licensed Master Social Worker and merging my passions. I deeply care for people, so my professional philosophy is centered on treating the whole person and meeting you where you’re at in your journey. We’re partners in this. I’m the passenger giving you directions, but it’s up to you to drive. The skin is the largest organ we have, so just like we take care of those organs inside, we have to care of the one protecting us as well. I look forward to holding your hand on your journey to achieving the healthiest skin of your life! CANCELLATION POLICY
We kindly ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, it is done at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time using the booking website/app. Each deposit allows one reschedule within 30 days of the original appointment. Failure to reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours in advance will result in loss of deposit. All no shows will result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled service amount. Two(2) no-shows will result in no longer being permitted to book services with Khalid Jalen Aesthetics. Running Late: There is a 15-minute grace period for clients running late to their appointment. After 15 minutes, the appointment will be considered a no-show and will result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled service amount. If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us via text at (832)598-7746. Please know that your appointment time will not be extended out of respect for client’s receiving services after you.
